Born in Ukraine and a third-generation immigrant, Markian came to the United States with a singular focus: understand what makes this country work, and earn his place in it. That path led him to the U.S. Naval Academy, where he earned dual degrees in Computer Science and Information Technology before serving as a U.S. Marine Corps officer.
It was during his service that Markian discovered real estate — and realized how few of his fellow service members knew the wealth-building tools available to them. He founded Active Duty Passive Income to close that gap, documenting his own journey and sharing the playbook with anyone willing to take action.
Today, Markian leads ADPI as CEO, guiding the company's evolution from VA-loan house hacking into commercial multifamily — always with the same goal: financial freedom for those who serve.
